Riyanto Sofyan, Chairman
Graduated from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida USA in 1980, with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering which specializing in the Computer Engineering. In 1990 obtained MBA from the European University, Belgium. Studied the hotel business and management through participationin various seminars and courses from L'ECOLE HOTELIER in Lausanne, Switzerland and the University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts, USA. His first working experience is at Olson Electronics Inc. in Florida, USA. Then joined Computer Companies, ICL Computers, PT. Daya ASL, DEC Computers. His first career in property business is in 1973, as a foreman in the construction of a hotel project. Later become Chief Engineer, Executive Assistant Manager and Executive director of several hotel companies namely PT. Jambak Mas, PT. Sofyan Reksagraha PT. Sofyan Brookshire Hotels International. Now being the Chairman of PT. Sofyan Hotels Tbk. and PT. Arva Paramaniaga (Arva Corporation).
Henry Riyanto, Vice Chairman
Obtained his Medical Doctor degree from University of Indonesia, Jakarta, he joined the corporation in 2004, being the co-founder of Insan Madina Foundation, Madina Islamic School, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility programs of Arva Corporation. As also Commissioner of PT Arva Paramaniaga, he supervises the strategic plan and operations of the holding company and the operations of the two offices buildings owned by the company.
Mahmud Lubis, Managing director
His working experience began in 1965 in Ambarukmo Palace Hotel, Yogyakarta. In 1972 worked in President Hotel, Jakarta. Started his career in hotel operation in variety jobs, later become Human and Resources Manager, Assistant General Manager and retirement on 1997. Then he obtained Master of Business Administration degree from IPWI, Jakarta and untul 2000 as President of PT. Sofyan Hotels Tbk. As Director of PT. Arva Paramaniaga and now being Senior Advisor of PT. Sofyan Hotels Tbk. And Chairman of Insan Madina Foundation.
Herlianti Widjayanti, Finance Controller
She earned a diploma of Accounting from the University of Borobudur, Jakarta. She worked in Public Accounting Office of “Herdjito S & Rekan” in 1987. In 1988 She worked in PT Pulau Laut as Accounting and in 1989 worked in PT Glorius Interbuana (Forwarding) as Accounting.She joined PT Sofyan Hotels Tbk as Treasury and Finance Analyst in 1990. In 1992 She served as Accounting Manager of Finance Controller in PT Arva Paramaniaga and since 2003 She was named Finance Controller, PT Arva Paramaniaga besides, She also served as Treasurer of Madina Islamic School Foundation since 2004.
Muhammad Shabri Hasan, Corporate Secretary
Graduated from Andalas University, Padang West Sumatera in 2002, and Bachelor of Law in which specializing in the Practical of Law, Graduated from State Institute of Islamic religion Padang in which specializing in the Islamic Law (Syariah) In 1990 obtained Magister in Islamic Law from the State Institute of Islamic religion Padang. His first working experience is at Law Office Yulis and Associated as Junior lawyer in Jakarta, and then as lecture for Islamic law studies and Positive Law at University of Wira swasta Indonesia for Gegana class Kelapa Dua until now. Joined at Center for Research and Development Community 2003, as Corporate Lawyer. Now being the Corporate Secretary of PT. Arva Paramaniaga (Arva Corporation) and Executive Assistant to the Chairman PT. Sofyan Hotels Tbk.
